Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an energetic, organized, and motivated Marketing & Event Coordinator who will be responsible for planning and executing events and developing educational and creative content for a variety of platforms.

 Job Responsibilities will include:

• Manage company meetings/tradeshows and events.
• Manage content across all our social media channels, ensuring topics are on-brand, strategy, and grammatically correct for Stonhard and advise on best practices for boosting organic social reach and engagement.
• Manage the development of all educational and creative content for a variety of platforms, including brochures, blogs, flyers, presentations, case studies, email marketing, and other market specific pieces focusing on educating customers.
• Manage monthly content calendars and ensures content remains consistent across all platforms and coordinates with design.
• Develop content strategies around keywords research and best practices for search engine optimization.
• Ensures all Stonhard branded and published materials match the brand voice and tone required.
• Fact check and verify information of content with appropriate staff and technical resources within the company.
• Be a team player who can collaborate effectively in a work environment and manage projects from concept to completion.

 Preferred Job Requirements:

• College or University diploma or certificate in communications, marketing, event management/hospitality program, or related field required.
• Experience creating engaging content.
• Excellent verbal, written, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. (Bilingual in French considered an asset)
• Must have strong organization skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment from concept to completion.
• Must be a team player who can collaborate effectively in a work environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs and Canva is considered an asset.
• Must have own means of transportation with valid driver’s license.

Job Type:

• Full-Time, Permanent
• This is an in-office position from 8:30-5:00, with no possibility of remote work.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
