Position Overview

To provide support and guidance for Stonhard products and installations

Job Responsibilites will include:

• Enforcement of company policy, in particular Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Health & Safety
• Establish good communications with the Sales Manager, Territory Managers and crews
• Relieve Sales Manager of non-selling time activities, such as reviewing quotes, labour costs and technical
• Safety: COR annual audit for NB, NS, PEI, safety administration
• Warehouse: Provide day to day direction for staff, shipping & receiving, inventory control, cycle counts etc
• Coordinating and scheduling of crews based on skill set and experience.  Trouble shooting as required and assisting in hiring new crews
• Prep Dept: assisting in hiring, training and scheduling.
• Assist to manage customer relations.  Conflict resolution, deficiency/warranty, repairs etc.

Prefered Job Requirements:

• Willingness to travel within the Atlantic provinces. Must have own means of transportation with valid license
• Construction experience and ability to read Blueprints/drawings required.
• 2-3 years site supervisor experience required.
• Education:  The ideal candidate will have successfully completed High School.
• Epoxy coating’s preparation & application experience considered an asset
• Engineering background, Project Management Professional would be considered an asset
• Results driven, self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication & leadership skills with the ability to motivate others and effectively promote teamwork
• Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Basic computer skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Must be able to pass mandatory Drug Testing & Security Clearances & Criminal Background checks.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50-70 pounds etc.)

Job Type:

• Full-time, Permanent
• Expect weekend and evening work - project often dictates working hours
